Why Don't They Blog?

Why don't more people blog? I wish I had more in real life friends that blogged. Its sad to say, but I only have one friend who actually blogs (myspace does NOT count). Its just such a wonderful way to stay in touch, and even get to know each other on a new level. Don't get me wrong, I love meeting new bloggy friends and love reading into the mind of strangers....but I just cannot figure out what is holding some people back from this free medium. And extrovert vs introvert cant explain it either...because blogging is a perfect podium for a shy private person - well unless you are really THAT shy. Maybe they don't like to write. Maybe they don't have time (who does). Maybe they are afraid. Who knows...but I sure wish my friends would blog. Hell...most of them don't even read my blog so who am I kidding. HA

ROAD TRIP TONIGHT!!!! WHOO HOOOOOOO. Have a great weekend.

I'm with ya. I just found out randomly that a few more people that I know in real life read my blog, yet don't comment... so I had no idea.
i tell people they should blog, it's such a great outlet, it's fun, it enables one to be creative and you meet so many neat people!
Oh well, what can you do?

I know what you mean. My one sister is the only other person I know in real life that blogs. It's strange considering the thousands of blogs out there, it's not uncommon to blog. So why don't we know more people who are also bloggers?

I am always trying to get my friends to blog. They always end up thinking I am weird. They love to read mine, but they never do their own.

I think I want real life friends to blog just so I have more people to link to. That and I am teh suck at keeping up with my friends who live far away.

Have a good road trip! :)

I used to have another blog. But I made a comment about wishing I had $$ for a downpayment for a house. and something else related (or not) in the blog said Papi's grandfather was loaded.
She took it as, Grandpa should give us money. Then called grandma and uncle and EVERY ONE else and got them all upset thinking I thought we deserved it. So I have to blog a little more privately now. *sigh* people just have to ruin things...

yes, I also feel the same way..Hmm..we can't do anything about it but to keep blogging and to wish that some day our friends would realise the joy of blogging..

I was actually one of the "hold outs" for a long time. 5 of my friends (in real life) blog regularly. I was the one who never had the time. Now, I post more often than any of them do. I actually have to be careful not to waste too much time sitting here.

I do wish more of my irl friends and family would blog...but then again, only a handful of them even bother to read my blog. I try posting pics of the kids as enticement, but I'm not sure if it even works.

Maybe they don't want to get to know us that well, after all. :P But, I do censor quite a few of things I write because I know they might be reading. heh. I need an anonymous blog.

Hope your road trip is safe and fun!

My husband and I both blog, but outside of that nada. I bet my mom would, but they don't have a computer since my brother moved out. Someday it'll be more mainstream, but for now we are the weird ones.
